Who we are

Ansaline (ansaline.com) is an AI phone answering service for service businesses, operated by Kelyan LLC (“Ansaline”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email us at hello@ansaline.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Name, email address, phone number, business name, and trade details you provide when you create an account or fill out our onboarding forms.
  • Call data. When you call a phone line answered by Ansaline, we collect the caller ID, call recordings, and transcripts. Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can deliver the answering service, capture job details, and document any consent you give during the call.
  • Text messages. If you opt in to receive texts from us, we collect your mobile phone number, the content of messages sent and received, and delivery metadata.
  • Payment information. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive billing status and the last digits of your card, but we never store full card numbers.
  • Usage data. Standard analytics about how you use our website and dashboard, such as pages visited and device type, collected via cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the answering service.
  • To send you information you request, including text messages you have opted in to receive.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To improve our service and website.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Text messaging (SMS)

We only send text messages to people who have opted in. If you opt in verbally during a phone call, we first send a single confirmation text, and you must reply YES before we send the information you requested. If you do not reply YES, we do not text you again.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or emailing hello@ansaline.com. See our SMS terms for full program details.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run Ansaline: cloud hosting, authentication, payment processing, voice and telephony carriers, analytics, email delivery, and customer support tooling. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • The business you called. If you call a line we answer on behalf of one of our customers, we pass the details of your call (including your name, phone number, and the reason for your call) to that business so they can follow up with you.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Call recordings and transcripts are retained while your account is active or as needed to document consent, then deleted on a rolling basis. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

Your choices

  • Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately.
  • Marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Access and deletion. Email hello@ansaline.com to request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it.
  • Cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings; core parts of the site will still work.

Children

Ansaline is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the service.
